Juho Makkonen is the CEO and Co-Founder of Sharetribe. Sharetribe helps entrepreneurs and organizations to easily create their own labor or rental platforms, a bit like their own Airbnb, TaskRabbit or Uber. Their mission is to democratize the sharing economy by making platform technology accessible to everyone. Juho has been building sharing platforms for more than 10 years, and he is also a co-author of The Lean Marketplace. He is convinced that it’s possible to build a better sharing economy, where profits are distributed fairly and people have control over their working conditions, and he’s committed to working towards that goal.
