Advancing Gender Inclusion Through Cooperatives and Digital Platforms
CONCURRENT COMMUNITY LABS
Starting with this session, we are branching out across 3 venues. Community Labs span all three days. On the first day, presentations ignite discussions on issues related and challenges. On the second day, a summary of the issues is presented back to collectively chart a roadmap for changes to policy and practice. On the third day, one facilitator from each lab presents a report on the debated actions, shaping A Shared Digital Agenda for Africa.
Community Lab 1
In the community lab, participants will explore the intersection of the formalization of work through digital platforms, cooperatives, youth, and gender inclusion, examining how cooperative models can promote equitable participation online and off. Panelists will discuss challenges and opportunities for fostering gender inclusion through cooperatives.
Facilitated by Sandra Moreno Cadena, Federico Parra Hinojosa, Katarzyna Cieslik and contributions by Vincent Marangu and Maïmonatou Mar and many others.
