Bio
Adriane Clomax completed her Ph.D. at the Suzanne Dworak-Peck School of Social Work, University of Southern California. As a Ph.D. candidate, her research primarily centered on inclusive leadership practices, mental health outcomes for workers of color, economic outcomes for workers in democratic workplaces, and the impact of the digital economy on the workforce. Adriane also completed a fellowship with the Institute for the Cooperative Digital Economy at the New School in New York City, where she contributed to a worker-owner-centered policy report for platform.coopersystem.com.breratives. Her dissertation analyzed economic and personal outcomes for workers of color in employee-owned businesses and those offering ESOPs. This summer, she commenced her two-year term as a Presidential Postdoc at Rutgers’ School of Management and Labor Studies, where she will collaborate with Dr. Douglas Kruse on matters related to retired workers of color and employee ownership.
