Beatrice Mbinya is an award-winning economics researcher specializing in digital trade, institutions, firm financing, and inequality. She is a Research Assistant at the School of Economics, University of Nairobi, where she earned her BSc in Economics and Statistics. Beatrice has co-authored several publications, including studies on taxation, digital platforms, and STEM education. Her accolades include recognition from CARISCA, RBA, YSI-SARCHI, and UNECA-AFDB. She is also a public policy analyst (KIPPRA), financial analyst (KASNEB), and data scientist (University of Washington, Virtual). As a youth advisor to Waumini SACCO and founder of Comrades Connect SACCO, she focuses on the gig economy and cooperative development, contributing to impactful economic research and policy.
