Gulinigaer Yishake, a Ph.D. student in public and international affairs at City University of Hong Kong and member of the research group “Urban Research Lab,” delves into the intricacies of the platform value chain. Holding both master’s and bachelor’s degrees in public administration from Shanghai Jiaotong University, Gulinigaer, who is part of the Uyghur ethnic minority, offers invaluable insights into ethnic minority platform labor.
