Bio

Jeffah Ombati is an attorney licensed to practice law in Kenya and an Associate Arbitrator with the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. He holds Master of Laws degrees from Harvard Law School and the University of Nairobi. His research focuses on the intersection of law, finance, and digital technology, particularly on regulatory frameworks for technological innovation in Africa and other developing regions. Currently, he is engaged in various projects with the United Nations, the World Bank, and governments and organizations in Africa and Asia, that focus on designing contracts that firms and governments can use to provide services to excluded communities, especially in rural areas. Jeffah’s work is pivotal in shaping the legal landscape for digital platforms, particularly in promoting inclusive economic growth.
