Bio

Prof. Kamau Ngamau is the Vice-Chancellor of The Co-operative University of Kenya, where he previously served as Acting Deputy Vice-Chancellor for Academic Affairs. He is also a Professor of Horticulture at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT), where he has held multiple roles, including Chair of the Horticulture Department, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, and Director of the Board of Postgraduate Studies. A recognized research scientist and consultant, Prof. Ngamau has published extensively in international journals and supervised numerous undergraduate, master’s, and Ph.D. students. He holds a Ph.D. in Horticultural Sciences from the University of Hanover, Germany, a Master’s in Horticulture, and a Bachelor’s in Agriculture from the University of Nairobi, as well as a Master’s in Organizational Development from USIU, Kenya.
