Bio
Renan Kalil holds a Ph.D. in Law at the University of São Paulo. His doctoral thesis focused on platform capitalism and labor law. He is author of the book “A regulação do trabalho via plataformas digitais” (“The regulation of work via digital platforms”). In addition, Renan is a labor prosecutor in Brazil. Currently, he is the national deputy head of the combat on labor relations dissimulations of the Labor Prosecution Service. His research interests include platform labor, platform capitalism, workers’ power, algorithm management and datafication.
