Bio
Merrin is a researcher at IT for Change, contributing to its research and advocacy efforts on technology-facilitated gender-based violence, social media governance, content regulation, and information integrity. She is a lawyer by training and holds a Master’s degree in Law and Development from Azim Premji University, Bengaluru. Merrin’s other research interests include privacy and autonomy implications of artificial intelligence and the intersection of technology and criminal law.
