Bio
Mark Coté is Senior Lecturer in Data Culture and Society at the Department of Digital Humanities at KCL and does cross-disciplinary research on information and power asymmetries emerging from datafication and embedded in platforms and AI. He has been PI or CI on EPSRC, H2020, and AHRC grants in the UK and Europe. He has presented his research at the British Academy, the European Parliament, the International Communication Association, the Royal Society, the Italian National Research Council, and others. His work has been published widely across leading journals ranging from Big Data & Society to IEEE Computer, Ethics and Information Technology.
