Albert Nii Darku Wellington is a leader in Ghana’s worker movement within the gig economy. He is a leader of the BF Couriers Association, representing couriers working for Bolt Food, Ghana’s largest food delivery service. The association advocates for fair wages, transparent payment structures, and improved working conditions. The association is organized into 10 zones in Accra, each with elected representatives to ensure democratic governance. Besides his role in the BF Couriers Association, Wellington is also a Project Manager at MTN Ghana and Google, where he manages various initiatives, leveraging his expertise to drive impactful projects and support worker rights in the gig economy.
