Bio
Carolyn Kane is an assistant professor of visual communications at Ryerson University in Toront. She was a PhD Candidate in the department of Media, Culture, and Communication at New York University where she iwrote her dissertation on Synthetic Color: Electronic Signal Processing & The Reconfiguration of Perception at the End of the Twentieth Century. Her research fields include digital media, new media art, aesthetics, and critical theory.
