Bio
Delia Badoi earned her Ph.D. from the Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales in Paris, France, in 2015. She is currently a Research Fellow at the Center for Advanced Internet Studies in Germany and a Senior Researcher at the Research Institute for Quality of Life in Romania. Badoi specializes in global labor studies, with a focus on gendered employment, the politics of new technology at work, the platform economy, and precarious working conditions. Throughout her career, she has been involved in various research projects across Europe, including collaborations with the Competence Centre on the Future of Work in Brussels, Belgium (2022), the Centre for European Policy Studies in Brussels (2019), the Research Institute for Work and Society at KU Leuven, Belgium (2018), and GESIS – Leibniz Institute for Social Sciences in Cologne, Germany (2019).
