Bio
John Njuguna Maina is the founder and chairman of Chipukizi VOD Cooperative Society, a youth-owned and led worker cooperative offering educational entertainment to both corporate and cooperative sectors. He is also an adjunct lecturer at The Co-operative University of Kenya, where he specializes in Community Development and Social Work within the I-TVET department. John’s research centers on utilizing digital technologies to combat poverty among young people by tapping into their talents for transformative change. He has led several research groups and authored multiple articles currently pending publication.
