Orapeleng Nareetsile is the General Secretary of the Botswana Youth Cooperative Alliance (BYCA), the youth wing of the Botswana Cooperative Association (BOCA). He also chairs the Master Minds Producers Cooperative, focused on horticulture, and serves as the Secretariat of the BOLESWA Federation of Youth Cooperatives. Recently, he was appointed to the executive committee of the AfriCoop Consortium, a Nairobi-based organization promoting cooperative research and development across Africa. At the 2019 ICA General Assembly in Kigali, he successfully proposed a youth-represented thematic committee. A strong advocate for cooperative education and training, Mr. Nareetsile works tirelessly to engage youth in cooperatives, promoting collaboration and entrepreneurship through various platforms and initiatives.
